To build sustainable businesses and sustainable communities we need to feel confident about what to do and why we’re doing it. Some of what we know is likely to be quite intuitive … we feel it's the right thing to do.
At the same time, there are usually other bits where the subtleties of knowledge, skill and process need some expertise and guidance - this is where sustainability consulting adds value.
NACC Sustainability believes that the world goes around a whole lot better when people have a significant level of control over their own existence, whether at work or home. This guides us to work in meaningful partnerships with those who are seeking to do things more sustainably.
Who we are
The Managing Director and Principal Consultant is Howard Nielsen who is a renowned facilitator of sustainable community development and sustainable business development. He is one of the most experienced sustainability consultants in Australia and has pioneered creative approaches to getting changes made through engaging people in meaningful ways.
What we do
Mainly we listen. Getting the right starting point is essential. While our sustainability assessment tools are extremely useful in arriving at that starting point, so is knowing the aspirations and challenges people see in their organisation. We tune-in to what people are saying and feeling right through the process of developing sustainability in businesses, organisations and communities.
