A WORKSHOP ON HOW TO ADVANCE THE SUSTAINABILITY
IN PRACTICE AT YOUR BUSINESS OR ORGANISATION
Why are we doing this?
It is now well accepted that businesses and organisations need to take action on climate change. Sustainable practices are expected… not only to benefit the planet but to benefit the day-to-day and long-term outcomes for businesses and organisations.
Until recently there have been few practical guidelines to help build truly sustainable businesses.
This workshop highlights four practical guidelines – the Sustainability Fourpack – for how this can happen for your business so that it can be even better at walking the talk on sustainability.
There will be some clarification about the need for sustainable practice at a big picture level, including a high level summary of the impacts of current and proposed carbon legislation, but most of the time will be spent on the Sustainability Fourpack and the benefits to businesses.
The benefits are that you will know what:
Sustainability action is relevant to your organisation
Tools to use to decide on sustainable practice on a daily basis
Tools to use to track progress toward achieving sustainable practice
Processes to use to engage management, staff and other key stakeholders in deciding on and implementing sustainable practices
