Appreciative Inquiry and Action Learning

A paper titled "Appreciative Action Learning" integrates the approaches of Appreciative Inquiry and Action Learning and is a guide to the way NACC aspires to work with people.

Sustainability

A number of visual presentations on sustainability are available on request. Please indicate the area of particular interest when you contact us.

A paper on "Cleaner Production" was co-authored and published by Howard Nielsen, Dr Kashonia Carnegie and Colin Glover and presented at the Asia Pacific Roundtable on Cleaner Production.

Participative practices in workplaces

A paper titled "Empowering Workplaces" has been drafted recently from a revised version of Howard Nielsen's chapter "Empowering Education" in the book on "School Community Partnerships" (Limerick and Nielsen, Harcourt Brace 1995)

Parent learning

This paper on "Parents Matter" was presented at the National Homelessness Conference in Melbourne.  Work on parenting in a new culture that was facilitated with the Horn of Africa refugee community is described in this paper on "Active Learning with Refugee's" that was published in 2003 in the journal of Adult Learning Australia.
