Examples of work over the past few years covering the three areas of sustainability, leadership and community include working with:

Colorcorp | The great team at Colorcorp is nearing the finalisation of their quality systems for Environmental Management (ISO 14001) and Quality  (ISO 9001).  Kicking great goals with consistently new systems and the engagement of all staff in going green.  

Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay | Major consulting assignment to work with a broad range of stakeholders on the re-development of a proposal for a Sustainable Business Strategy,  endorsed in 2019 by the RDAMB Board.  Followed on with the development of a Sustainability Toolkit accessible on www.sustainablemoretonbay.com.au  

Sustainability Support Hub | Plenty of action started in 2019 to help either startup businesses or established businesses to build themselves as sustainable businesses.  The Sustainable Startup Hub has been seed funded by Innovate Queensland and the project has already interacted with over twenty businesses. Innovate Moreton Bay | Collaborating with both Samford Commons and Innovate Moreton Bay to provide numerous activities to build student capacity in sustainability and to inform innovative businesses about building a sustainable business.

Samford Commons  | Working with Ellena from Samford Commons and Steve and Peter from Innovate Moreton Bay and Grace Lutheran College to deliver the STEAM Immersion Program with 14 Year 7 and 8 students in the Moreton Bay Region.  A great time was had by all and an overall satisfaction score of 91% was very humbling. Lots of support from local Samford businesses and city-based research scientists. 

ACT Health Authority | This very positive consulting assignment engaged health stakeholders in the ACT in renewing their Sustainability Policy which is now in practice. 

Micah Projects | Facilitating a sustainable leadership process and a sustainable enterprise program, including leader coaching, staff workshops and team development for one of Australia's most highly regarded social justice organisations.  Implementing a sustainability reporting system and an ISO environmental management system.

Moreton Bay Seafood Industry Association | Assisting the MBSIA to gain resources to implement a high level stakeholder engagement process leading to an improved Environmental Management System

Ammamoor Festival |  Designing a stakeholder engagement process for their next festival in South East Queensland

State Library of Queensland | Developing leadership capacities in a world class institution through workshop processes, coaching and individualised team building approaches.

Environmental Management Systems |  Helping TransitCare and Micah Projects to design and deliver an ISO 14001 Environmental ManagementSystem, ensuring it integrates with the general Quyaslity System, ISO 9001

Sustainable Business Clusters | Helping reduce carbon emissions and business costs in 80 businesses in outback Queensland, Brisbane City and Moreton Bay Region.

Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay | Consulting with businesses, communities and government to develop Sustainability Roadmaps for business and communities in the Moreton Bay local government region, the third largest in Australia.

Dogs Queensland | Extensive stakeholder consultation in order to develop a strategic plan to build a resilient state wide community organisation.

TransitCare | Developing an Environmental Management System with a progressive community business working in the social justice arena.  Includes the facilitation of a Sustainable Leadership Program and leadership coaching. 

Connecting Kilcoy Community | Facilitating a widespread community engagement process in this rural town to develop sustainable futures from the community level up.

Ipswich City Council | Implementing an inclusive community engagement process to uncover community aspirations and needs for social planning and to share user friendly information from census and other sources.

Salvation Army | Leadership coaching and facilitation of forums with participants in innovative programs conducted by the Salvos.

Queensland Conservation Council | Facilitating strategic planning processes with the QCC Board and facilitating the establishment of a Regional Conservation Council in Queensland.

Green Street | Developing an innovative on-line and face-to-face forum to promote and support sustainable practice in workplaces and households.

Queensland Government | Facilitating a TechClinic on Cool Solutions for helping western Queensland iconic tourist facilities to become more sustainable.

Outback Gondwana Foundation | Developing a marketing plan for an exciting new Outback tourism project.

National Water Conference: Australian Water Association & Water Services Association of Australia | Design and facilitation of the 'Sustainable Cities' think-tank strand.

Awards

Humbling to be part of the win by Samford Commons in 2019 as Community Organisation of the Year at the Moreton Bay Regional Business and innovation Awards.

NACC was pleased to be a contributor to the winning of the Premiers Community sustainability Award by the Pine Rivers Climate Action Network in 2010, and as a finalist again in 2011.
